TOURNAMENT!!!

Open to all JV and VARSITY school teams or individuals.

7 v 7 following FIH Rules.

25 minute games/5 Games GUARANTEED

CERTIFIED Section V NYSPHSAA Referees!

Onsite Certified Athletic Trainers!

$300 per team/14 players MAXIMUM per team.

(Schools can submit multiple teams per level.)

or

$45.00 Individual – Sign up to be placed on a school team or “Fusion” the house team. (For individuals whose school does not send a team)

Turf and Grass fields. (All teams guaranteed a turf game).

ALL FINAL GAMES ON TURF

Open to all high school teams. (Sections IV, V, and VI)

USA Field Hockey Futures Program Try Outs

USA Field Hockey Futures Program!

Here is an opportunity to become a part of the Futures program. The Futures program is a great opportunity for athletes who want to sharpen their field hockey skills in the off season, allowing them to work towards their dream to play at a higher level. Athletes will train in Futures Training Academies for seven, 3 hour sessions and will have the opportunity to be selected to their Regional Team at the Regional Futures Tournament. If selected to the Futures program, sessions will be held on Sundays at All Star Sports 557 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621
 

Finger Lakes Field Hockey will be hosting Future Trials at Turin Tennis and Swim Club (260 Hogan Road, Fairport, NY) on October 18th, 2015 – from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

What is the USA Field Hockey Program?
“The USA Field Hockey Futures Program is dedicated to developing the top athletes in each region, identifying the most talented athletes in the nation and cultivating the Olympic athletes of tomorrow. Since it’s establishment in 1990, the FuturesProgram has been the start of many athlete’s Olympic journey.
 
The Futures program is a great opportunity for athletes who want to sharpen their field hockey skills in the off-season, allowing them to work towards their dream to play at a higher level. Athletes will train in Futures Training Academies for seven, 3 hour sessions and will have the opportunity to be selected to their Regional Team at the Regional Futures Tournament in Syracuse, NY.”
 
Who Should Attending a USA Field Hockey Futures Trial?
Any field hockey player U19, U16, and U14 that would like to continue developing their skills off season.

  • Players should select “Region 4 – New York” for their Futures trial.
  • USA Field Hockey does not require that trial participants have a USA Field Hockey Membership, however, there is a $25.00 fee for participating in the trial.  Registration and payment is done online to USA Field Hockey.
  • Players should bring shin guards, mouth guard, googles and a stick to the trial.
  • Please should bring the attached Finger Lakes Field Hockey Risk Waiver.
